A sneak view of my place

Today, while going thru some pictures of deer habitats, I came upon this picture which represents a section of the small lake that we have in front of our house.  The white water lily could easily be chosen as the floral emblem of the Outaouais region.  From July to the end of August, the shallow bays and all the ponds of this region are literally invaded by this flower… A more classical picture would have had a bull frog or a leopard frog on one of the water lily leaves, but I wasn’t patient enough.  My only hope is that this picture will encourage you to go thru what’s left of this winter.  Have a good day.
